Electric Toothbrush Engineering Capability for OEM/ODM Projects
Engineering support connects product requirements, structural development, electronic integration, manufacturing preparation and quality coordination.
AileCare works on OEM/ODM projects from product requirements through samples and manufacturing preparation. The job is to bring the handle, brush head, housing, components, process and quality requirements into alignment before production starts.

Engineering from Concept to Manufacturing
Engineering value lies in making a product functional, manufacturable and ready for production.
The partner manufacturing facility combines injection molding, tufting and assembly, so product decisions are reviewed against the processes that will actually produce them.
Industrial Design Review and Product Architecture
Buyers usually arrive with a design direction rather than a complete manufacturing specification. The first task is identifying where appearance decisions affect structure, component placement, molding and assembly.
Review covers handle appearance, button layout, color requirements and overall product architecture. Where a design cannot be produced as drawn, alternatives are discussed before tooling is prepared, not after.

Mechanical Engineering Development
Housing, interfaces and assembly are reviewed as one structure.

Electronic Integration Support
Motor, battery and charging requirements are reviewed as part of product integration. Component selection affects internal space, housing structure, charging architecture and assembly, so these decisions sit with the mechanical work rather than apart from it.
Scope for a specific project is confirmed during development.
Brush Head and Product Structure Development
The brush head and handle are developed against the same specification. Interface dimensions, fit requirements and tufting coordination are defined in the same document as the handle, which is what keeps brush head requirements aligned with the product platform.
In-house tufting and assembly at the manufacturing base mean brush head structure and handle interface are reviewed together during development.
For brush head programs, see our approach to brush head quality control, covering tufting, dimensional control, interface fit and inspection.

Tooling and Manufacturing Preparation
Tooling and manufacturing requirements are coordinated before production. Injection molding, tufting and assembly are handled within the same operation, so component design, process requirements and inspection points are reviewed together.
Preparation covers process review, first-article confirmation and inspection planning, according to the product and the agreed specification.
Requirements are aligned with the electric toothbrush quality control process before production release.

Sample Review and Design Change Management
Engineering Sample Review
Prototype samples support engineering review before production preparation. Samples are checked against defined product requirements, with issues recorded and addressed before the next build.
Samples can be reviewed alongside product testing and reliability support for project-defined verification requirements.
Design Change Management
Design changes are reviewed, documented and communicated before production release. Changes may involve structure, components, color, brush head configuration or packaging.
Version confirmation and sample approval are held at project level, so a later production batch can be checked against the reference that was actually approved.
OEM/ODM Engineering Support
Projects start from whatever the buyer has: a concept, a product reference, an industrial design direction, a sample, a drawing or a set of technical requirements.
From there we handle development coordination, sample review and manufacturing preparation. Product requirements are reviewed against the intended market, the design direction, manufacturing conditions and the buyer’s own specifications.
